they do not know.

It is kind of surprising that most of the people my age, well 18++, don't really know whats going on the country. Yes, we have to worry about our studies, our own lives, our financial problems, but its kind of disturbing to know the problems, issues and hardship people face in this country. While we think about our comforts, there are so many selfless people doing things that we would not even dream of doing. Especially in terrible condition, while being treated badly and against all odds, they do it with a strong spirit in their heart and a smile on their face.
Maybe you guys just ignored it, don't know about it or just don't care. To those who do not know,
  1. Racism
  2. Bribery
  3. Abuse of Human Rights: no birth certs, no IC, no home NO EDUCATION!
  4. Illiteracy
  5. Social Issues: rape, murder, theft, "mat rempit"
  6. Environmental Ignorance.
  7. Chauvinism
  8. HIV, AIDS, Prostitutes, Illegitimate children, Denggi, H1N1, Diabetes, Cancer, Heart problems.
What can we do about? SO many things! But that's another post all together.
Now, you guys know the MAJOR issues that are going in this country. There are still, minor issues that I left out. More specific things. Why, maybe I wanna live to make the difference. Be alert and take notice, but do not be stupid. Like I said, you have to live to make the change you want to see.

Yes, you may think, you're rich enough to live in another country or to hell with this country, I'm going to UK or Aust. That's you're decision to make, but have we not been instilled with compassion, patriotism, love, hope, kindness, humanitarianism and courage by our parents, teachers, religion, history, friends and even by ourselves. Thus, we should all stand up for the truth! Believe in EQUALITY that is being constantly preached but not practiced. STOP looking at life through a rosy window. Open the door, come out and see what the world is really like. Fight for whats right, even if it does not benefit your, your family, your race to your religion.

And when you step back, and look at all the efforts you put in, by just being considerate, and doing your very least, you WILL see that you have created a solid future for many many people. After you go on, maybe to live your own life now, or moved on, there will be a warm feeling within you, that will put a smile on your face every morning, that my friend, is the feeling of satisfaction. That very feeling is the blessing of every soul you have touched. Questions may arise, Obstacles of many level, and sacrifices must be made, after all, it is for a good cause.

One day, the hurt, the oppressed, the discriminated, the victims, with all they're heart, scream with all the might they posses, cry tears of relieve and say, I quote Dr. Martin L. King:

We cannot walk alone.

And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead.

We cannot turn back.

Free at last! Free at last!

Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!

That will be the day, when all Malaysians are free, and truly "Merdeka" from all forms of discrimination.

peace and love.
